We lugged the kit of PT 0.8 miles up Cole Pond Trail, and set the 2&#8242; long split hemlock left over from 2017 as sills. We then built the eighth bog bridge on that stretch of mud to the same specs as the earlier seven. A leisurely descent through the May woods sprouting different shades of green, and we were back at the road, where one was given the tartan he just earned. Someday we&#8217;ll have a piper to play &#8220;Hielan&#8217; Laddie&#8221; as a welcome, but for now we were heading for cold drinks by noon.<\/p>\n<p>Another good day for this crew, and thanks to the volunteers.
