Fri 8/29: Patrol Up Rim & Down Newbury
FWIW... Fri 8/29/25 0900. 3 Cardigan Highlanders met by caboose on Rte 103 @ Newbury Harbor. We drove in one car to NE Bowl up on Mt. Sunapee. We patrolled 1.6 miles up Rim Trail then down Newbury Trail east to our cars at Newbury Harbor. Our sawyer Chuck sawed 7 blowdowns. Kevin and TM Craig raked leaves from 48 drains. In the cool dry weather we moved fast, and by focusing on only those two tasks the job was done in five hours, or four hours actual work.
Big thanks to this crew.
So, 3 x 5 = 15 hours. BTW, patrol rakes save a lot of time, and are handy as walking sticks too.
