9/24/26 Mission: MOWGLIS

Five Highlanders spent about five hours going up the Mowgli Trail to the top of Cardigan, assessing the condition of the trail. At the top of Firescrew, we recovered three sets of blaze boards. On the way down branches that were encroaching on the trail were lopped off. Two trees that had fallen across the trail were cut and moved, and one tree that had fallen across the trail was simply pushed aside. One set of three blaze boards was left at the Crag shelter in the attic.
