Late Fall Raking

Yesterday I raked 23 drains from the 2nd up to the 3rd crossing of Andrew Brook. Leaves are now dry and light, so patient work with a rake gives very good results. work time - 4 hours

Also:
- Andrew Brook Tr up to 2nd xing, 9 drains, 11/11: 3 hours
- Cole Pd Tr 24 drains 11/12: 3 hours
- Rim Tr 20 drains 11/17: 2 hours

Total: 12 hours

DOT locked gates on the roads to Winslow Trail and Cardigan State Park on 11/9 due to 1" of snow that melted by 11/11, so no raking there before next Spring.

Respectfully submitted, Craig

It’s not a glamorous job, but it sure is necessary. Clear drainage will make a huge difference in minimizing erosion when the snow melts off in the spring. Well done.
